YOUR PET’S COMFORT IS MY NUMBER ONE CONCERN.
I am a professional groomer with over 30 years experience. I come to your home or office with a new state-of-the-art, climate controlled, fully self contained van. This is a groomer/owner run business so you can always rely on my experience and professionalism.
After graduating from The Westminster School Of Dog Grooming in 1976, I then went on to own a successful grooming salon for 20 years in Costa Mesa, CA. I gained further experience working side by side with various groomers with show backgrounds, as well as award winning groomers in other grooming shops. That is where I spent the last 10 years. I started my mobile business 2 years ago because I wanted to keep the comfort of your pet my primary concern. I can now focus, uninterrupted, on clients pets with no cage waits and none of the stress of a grooming shop atmosphere.
My experience allows me to handle dogs of all kinds of temperments. I can calm down the most nervous, the elderly, as well as give puppies confidence in their groomer through correct handling.
I have the experience to do most breed haircuts and am skilled with sissors and blenders to give an even, well balanced and attractive look that is breed correct. I also do personality cuts or any custom cut for the look you desire on your pet. My haircuts grow out even and continue to stay nice looking because they start out even and balanced when I’m done.
I use only top-of-the-line, all-natural shampoos and conditioners and use a deshedding technique to rid dogs of excessive undercoat. I do not charge for any of these special treatments as I feel it should be a part of any professional grooming process. Also included: Nails trimmed and filed, hair removal from the ear canal, ears wiped out, anal glands expressed externally, a warm water bath and completely fluff dried.
Due to the limited size of my van and my own personal strength, I can not accept most dogs over 80 lbs.
Aggressive dogs
I will not say that I will try any and all known aggressive dogs. I do not want to put myself or the dog into a situation where either one of us might get hurt. Generally, it has been my experience that a dog, who’s owner can handle him/her but is aggressive to others, the dog is only being protective. Once away from the owner, I know how to handle this type dog so we both end up being friends to each other. I do use muzzles when I feel my safety is in danger. I will not do any dog with known aggression problems if it weighs more then 50 lbs. I know my limits and a visit to your veternarian for sedation grooming would be your best bet.
